A two (2) Stage approach is proposed for the implementation of this project. The first stage (Stage 1) comprises the implementation of the full System for an operational corridor and the services that operate within the corridor, and the fitting of bus equipment to an appropriate amount of buses for ACTION to successfully complete a trial within the specified corridor. Bus Stop Passenger
Information Displays (PID) and bus priority at intersections to ensure full Real Time Passenger Information and Signal Preemption System operation on the corridor. If the first stage is successful, the second stage involves the configuration and implementation of the entire solution.

It is expected that the contract with the successful Tenderer will contain a design, supply, install and commission component for a period of two (2) years, followed by a one (1) year warranty period. The Contract will also include a maintenance requirement for a System Support Term of ten (10) years after the issue of the Certificate of Acceptance of Stage 2.
