Review
The International Council on Systems Engineering provides IMO extraordinary value in its SE publications.
The proceedings of the annual INCOSE International Symposia contain many excellent papers. An effective paper review process filters most of the rubbish, resulting in papers that are generally at least OK.
The 10-year compendium 1991-2000 represents amazing value.
Arguably, the INCOSE Systems Engineering Handbook is the best of the publicly available reference publications on SE (Halligan - until my book is published!). It is certainly better than the books (as at December 2001).
