A Contribution to CMMI's Best Practices

Organizational Process Definition (OPD):

• Design of the implementation standard (SW & HW)
• Capture design pattern assets through generation rules
• Capture design activities relationships through transformation rules
• Capture design synthesis capabilities through document generation rules

Organizational Innovation and Deployment (OID)
Help to disseminate best practices, for example :

• to optimized coding pattern to enhance performances or overcome discrepancies in microcontroller structures, compiler flaw or OS weaknesses
• Innovative design flow by changing interaction between software applications

IPPD:
Enable the data exchange between disciplines, like :

• provide system-level specification as subsystem-level requirements
• provide system-level design models as implementation-ready specification
• provide architectural data for ready-to analyze RAMS models
• etc.
