The Ammunition Data Card is used to acquire a record containing essential data pertaining to the initial history of a lot of ammunition and explosive material or, in certain instances, of a serially numbered complete round guided missile which contains all required data pertaining to each lot of the item. The data card is used to provide traceability of explosive items.
