Requirements:
1. Reference Documents. The applicable issue of the documents cited herein, including their approval dates and dates of any applicable amendments, notices, and revisions, shall be as stated herein. DS-61 (current edition) is available at the National Security Agency, Acquisition Logistics and Deployment Review, 9800 Savage Rd, Suite 6129, Fort Meade, Md. 20755-6129, Attn: DA023. The ASME standard, Y14.100-2004, is available through the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (http://www.asme.org).
2. Format and Content. The sanitized drawings shall be created to meet the requirements of ASME Y14.100-2004, as tailored per overarching standard outlined in 3.7.a. of DS-61.

Introduction
Use/relationship:
a. To provide Engineering Documentation Product Drawings, Sanitized, to support prototype and limited production of equipments and systems. The drawings will be used to support the maintenance, repair, spare procurement, training, testing, and configuration baseline of the equipment and system acquired.
b. This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format and content preparation instructions of the Engineering Documentation Product Drawings resulting from the work task described in the contract SOW, the ASME Standard, Y14.100-2004, “Engineering Drawing Practices” (entire document) and 3.7.a. of DS-61, “NSA Data Standard for the Preparation of Engineering Documentation” Appendix B, Revision F.
