Requirements:
1. Reference documents: The applicable issue of the documents cited herein, including their approval dates and dates of any applicable amendments, notices, and revisions, shall be as cited in the current issue of the DODISS at the time of the solicitation; for non DODISS-listed documents, as stated herein.
2. Format: The Cost Breakdown Structure Summary Report shall be prepared using the
DD Form 2417, See Figure 1.

3.1.1 System/Project Identification. Identification of the system or project.
3.1.2 Contract Number. The contract number.
3.1.3 Date. Effective date of data.
3.1.4 Point of Contact. Leave the following blank.

Use/relationship:
The Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) Summary Report provides the project cost
allocation by cost category and applicable fiscal appropriate determined by the contractor
to deliver and support a system during the performance of a contract.
This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format and content preparation
instructions for each tech data product generated by the specific and discrete task
requirement as delineated in the contract.
