Content and Format Requirement:
The Bar Code and Identification Report contains a complete listing of all the equipment power supplies and lowest replaceable units (LRU) identified with bar code markings. Lowest Replaceable units to consist of circuit boards, modules, cables, and power supplies. Data shall be on magnetic tape, 1600 BPI, 9-Track and shall contain 10 records per block. Data elements, fields, and field size to be indicated below. All fields to contain alphanumeric characters.

Introduction
The Bar Code Identification Plan is a listing by equipment of identifying information affixed to equipment. The report identifies the bar code number for each system or equipment component down to the lowest replaceable unit (LRU). This information will be used in logistics operations and provides the capability to rapidly and accurately identify the location and status of LRUs throughout their life cycle.
