“Master Timetable” or “MT” means the electronic file which provides details of the scheduled
departure (origin and intermediate points) and arrival (at destination) times at all timing points for all service scheduled to operate on each day of the year. The Master Timetable is the equivalent of the information published to passengers in the timetable pamphlets and at stops provided by operators.
The Master Timetable comprises a Master Timetable Templates (TT) file and a Master Schedule (MS)
file. “Master Timetable Templates” or “TT” means the electronic file which provides details of the
scheduled departure (origin and intermediate points) and arrival (at destination) times at all timing
points for all service scheduled to operate on each type of timetable day.
“Operational Performance Regime” or “OPR” means the bus service delivery performance
measurement activities managed by the Information Systems and Analysis Branch of the Public
Transport Division in the Department.
“Operational Period” means the period defined in clause 4.2.1. Extended hours for bus services
during special events such as New Years Eve may apply, but are not relevant for the purposes of
system performance calculations. “Operations All Data file” or “AD file” means the electronic file containing all of the operational information logged by the System during a day’s operations. This includes, without limitation, information on the arrival and departure times of all services on SmartBus Routes during the day including master timetabled services, additional services scheduled in the Daily Timetable and additional services scheduled in the Working Timetable. The AD file is electronically transferred to the Department on a daily basis.

Introduction
Any terms used in this Function and Performance Specification (FPS) and its annexes
that are not defined in this FPS have a corresponding meaning to that used in the
Statement of Work for work activities, or in the SmartBus Route 700 ICT System
Contract between the Director of Public Transport and the Contractor. The meanings of
acronyms and abbreviations used throughout this FPS are summarised in clause
10.1.12.
