DESCRIPTION and intended use
The Technical Documentation Tree (TDT) is a hierarchical definition of the specifications and design documentation associated with the system.
The TDT describes the relationship between documents in the Contractor’s program, the standard for each document (ie. its data item description), the schedule for their update and the Commonwealth’s access and approval rights
The TDT is used by the Contractor to define the structure of the documentation that will be developed for the Contract.
The Commonwealth uses the TDT to define expectations and delivery schedule for all design documentation to be delivered on the Contract.
