The 35-member Systems Engineering organization at the Idaho National Laboratory (INL) has over 750 years of collective experience providing systems-based products and services to a broad range of government and private industry customers. Nine of those systems engineers are CSEP certified, one recently received Expert Systems Engineering Professional (ESEP) recognition, and additional 15 are preparing to submit applications and take the CSEP exam. INL systems engineering identified numerous inconsistencies with the content and general structure of the Handbook v3.1 noting specifically that the organisation of the information required users to consult three or more separate locations within the text to fully understand a single process topic.
