External Passenger Information Systems Interface Control Document

The The SmartBus ICT System will be responsible for the timely presentation and update of information on passenger information displays under its control, but will depend on external systems for the provision of accurate information pertaining to train and tram connections at intermodal sites. External systems will similarly rely on the SmartBus ICT System for the provision of accurate real time passenger information concerning buses. This document describes interfaces with external passenger information systems to be used by the
the SmartBus ICT System to:
obtain (from external systems) real-time next tram or train information for
selected locations; and
provide (to external systems) real-time next bus information for selected
locations.
