An iterative part of the System Engineering Process that:
- Identifies and Captures the requirements applicable to the system;
- Analyzes and Decomposes the requirements into clear,
unambiguous, traceable, and verifiable requirements;
- Allocates the requirements to the appropriate product
component and/or the appropriate organization entities;
- Derives requirements down to lower-levels in the system hierarchy;
