The Technical Data Package Index identifies all of the engineering data for the specified equipment(s). It is a complete top-down breakdown of all assemblies comprising the equipment. The data is used to identify and compile technical data packages.

This Data Item Description contains the format and content preparation instructions for the data product generated by the specific discrete task requirement as delineated in the contract.

This DID is applicable to the acquisition of FAA systems when a technical data package is to be delivered to the Government.
